This graduation work has a purpouse to find out how big is the conncetion between leisure time and kinesiological activity when it comes to the children in elementary school. For the purpose of this survey, students from elementary school Marin Držić from Dubrovnik were involved in it. There were 12 classes with 238 students in total. Survey, which has beed filled out by the students, helped us to get a better picture of the active/passive activities in their leisure time. Even though a very little percentage of children chose sports as their favourite leisure time activity, 28% male and 16% female students, taking the following question into consideration, we found out that most of the children (91%) are doing some sport/dane in their leisure time. Since the main accent in the survey was on sports, 21 student (9%) stopped answering the survey when they came to the second question as they were not doing any sport/dance and whole survey was based on it. The purpose was also to see the children's attitude to sports, which sports do they do the most, how often do they do trainings, if they are having some future plans with that sport, why did they choose this particular sport etc. At the end of survey we got all the answers we needed. Even though it is not easy for today's children to say „NO“ to the virtual world and there is more and more children spending their time on the computer/phone, children who enrolled this survey are aware of the importance of the kinesiological activity, specifically sports/dance.
