Vitamins were one of the greatest dietary discoveries of the 20th century, and over the last three decades, vitamin supplements have been used in advertising as supplements for healthy nutrition and all the way to additions for cosmetic preparations. Scientific findings and how their understanding was expanding more and more vitamins and their effects were discovered. It was also established that human organism can’t independently synthesize vitamins and it is necessary to take them from food / drink. More recently, research has shown that vitamins are needed in small quantities and that each of them has several vital, specific roles or is needed to prevent the some disease who is connected to its shortage. Nutritionists classify vitamins according to whether are they water-soluble (B and C) or fat-soluble (A, D, E and K). This paper contains parameters which were analyzed during production of granulated vitamin supplements. Also, is described the effectiveness of vitamins for organism health and what is happening in their shortage.
