Postoperativna zdravstvena njega i medicinska rehabilitacija u bolesnika s prijelomom kuka, kao i kvaliteta njihova provođenja ovise o brojnim čimbenicima. Neki od ovih čimbenika mogu biti dob, spol i opće tjelesno stanje bolesnika, postojanje komorbiditeta, te pridružene ozljede.

Više trajanja zdravstvene njege po postoperacijskim danima i vrsti medicinskih vježbi koje se provode po postoperacijskim danima s obzirom na dob, spol, pokretljivost bolesnika do trenutka nastanka ozljede, vrstu provedenog operativnog zahvata, komorbiditete, te pridružene ozljede u hospitalno liječenih bolesnika s prijelomom u području kuka. Istraživanje je provedeno na odjelu za traumatologiju Kliničke bolnice Dubrava u razdoblju od 4 mjeseca. Uzorak ovog istraživanja bilo je 59 bolesnika s dijagnozom prijeloma kuka, u kojih je učinjen kirurški zahvat. U nastavku rada navedene su specifičnosti i postupci zdravstvene njege i medicinske rehabilitacije koji se provode kod bolesnika s prijelomom kuka u postoperacijskom periodu, kao i ciljevi, metode i rezultati prikupljenih i obrađenih podataka.
Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali kako postoje statistički značajne razlike u duljini trajanja zdravstvene njege s obzirom na spol i dob. Što se tiče vrsta medicinskih vježbi koje su provođene u postoperacijskim danima, rezultati su pokazali da ni kod jedne ispitivane varijable ne postoji statistički značajna razlika u vrsti izvođenja tih vježbi prema glavnom ishodu, dok ostali promatrani parametri nisu bili značajno povezani s glavnim promatranim ishodima.
Osnovni cilj postoperativne zdravstvene njege i medicinske rehabilitacije je što brže postizanje stanja u kojem će bolesnik sa što većom samostalnošću zadovoljiti osnovne životne potrebe i nužnu mobilnost, s krajnjim ciljem što veće kvalitete života. Ključ za dobru i kvalitetnu postoperativnu zdravstvenu njegu i medicinsku rehabilitaciju jest uska i kontinuirana suradnja bolesnika, medicinske sestre, fizioterapeuta, fizijatra i liječnika-operatera, odnosno svih članova tima koji su uključeni u postoperativni program oporavka bolesnika. Više differences in healthcare duration based on postoperative days and the type of medical exercises that are implemented by postoperative days due to the gender, sex, the mobility of patients by the time of the injury, the type of surgery performed, comorbidities and associated injuries. The research was conducted on the Department of Traumatology at the Clinical hospital Dubrava in a period of 4 months. The sample of this study were 59 patients with hip fractures, in whom surgery was performed. The specificities, healthcare and medical rehabilitation procedures that are conducted on patients with hip fractures in the postoperative period, as well as the goals, methods and results of collected and processed data are listed in the next chapters of this thesis.
The results of this research showed that there are no statistically significant differences in healthcare duration based on sex and gender. As for the types of medical exercises that are conducted in the postoperative period, the results showed that none of the tested variables had a statistically significant difference based on the type of exercise conducted in regard to the main outcome, while the other observed parameters were not significantly connected with the main observed outcomes.
The basic goal of postoperative healthcare and medical rehabilitation is to – as quickly as possible – achieve a state in which a patient can with as much independence as possible satisfy his or hers basic life necessities and the necessary mobility, with the ultimate aim of a higher quality of life. The key to a good and quality postoperative healthcare and medical rehabilitation is a close and continuous cooperation of patients, nurses, physiotherapists, physiatrists and doctors, that is, all team members that are included in the postoperative recovery program.
